Description: 75th Independence day –‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsav’ was celebrated at St. Peter’s Academy with great fervour and joy. The ceremony began with hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal of the school Rev. Fr. Michael Collins, the Manager Rev.Fr. Dominic Bosco and Fr. Anishant followed by a series of patriotic songs and folk dances representing the culture of the various states. The Tri-colour flags and the songs of patriotism echoed all around and added to the charm of the occasion. On this occasion the tiny-tots of kindergarten were equally enthusiastic to put up their culture dance forms and songs Rev. Fr. Michael Collins paid tribute to the martyrs and the freedom fighters of the nation and prayed for a peaceful and united nation. He congratulated the participants and the teachers for the efforts they had put in for making this event a great success
