Description: St. Peter’s Academy, Patiala celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with great joy and fervour. Father John Bosco, the principal of the school, hoisted the Tricolour flag which was followed by March Past by all the four houses paying homage to the National Flag. A solo Patriotic singing competition was held followed by a Mime competition in which the students of all the four houses participated with great enthusiasm. A feeling of Patriotism was evoked in everyone’s heart. Father John Bosco addressed the students and said that freedom in true sense means working selflessly for the development of the country. The programme ended with a colourful patriotic dance.
