Description: The process of learning is enhanced when the kids do some related hands-on activities. Activities that are designed, teach the child a lot more than what we can perceive from it. It teaches the kids fine motor skills, differentiation of colours and shapes, hand-eye co-ordination, pincer grip and also recognition of different pulses. 'Sorting of beans' activity was held in the Kindergarten on 18.08.23. Children were given a bowl of mixed pulses like black pulses (rajma) and chick-peas (chhole) . Both were different in shape and colour. They had to separate these in two different bowls. The kids enjoyed it a lot.
