Description:
To Commemorate 78 years of India’s freedom the students of St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar,Patiala celebrated the lndependence Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The Tricolour was hoisted by the school Manager Rev. Fr. Dominic Bosco and the Principal Rev. Fr. Michael Collins . The program was marked by the spectacular drill by the NCC Air Wing of the school followed by patriotic singing competition and a skit to pay tribute to the bravehearts of Kargil War. The Manager Rev. Fr. Dominic Bosco made the students aware about the ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan’ initiated by the Govt. of India. The students took pledge to make India drug free. The Principal Rev. Fr. Michael Collins addressed the students regarding the importance of fraternity amongst the citizens of India and stressed upon the need of moving from ‘ME to WE’
