Description: Student of St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar, Patiala – Gursidak Singh – wins the ‘World Junior Chess Championship Tournament’. Gursidak Singh, a student of Class 8 at St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar, Patiala, secured first place in the ‘World Junior Chess Championship Tournament’, bringing pride to his parents and his school. The tournament was organized by the All India Chess Federation (AICF), where Gursidak Singh was declared India’s second FIDE Master. He was awarded a gold medal, a trophy, a certificate, and 700 Australian dollars as a reward. On this proud occasion, the school Principal, Father Michael Collins, congratulated Gursidak Singh and his parents, and extended his best wishes for the bright future of this talented student.
