Description: An Inter School Folk Dance competition was organized by St Peter’s Academy,Patiala on 30th Nov 2019.Seventeen schools of Patiala participated in the competition .The Judges of the competition were Dr Seema Sharma,Mr Manveer Singh and Miss Prabhdeep Kaur from Punjabi university,Patiala.The Principal and teachers of various school graced the occasion. The folk dance forms of various states like Jhumar,Luddi,Giddha ,Lavani etc were presented by the participants very enthusiastically .Mr Manveer and Dr Seema appreciated the hard work and efforts of students and teachers in presenting the colourful dances. The first position was bagged by St Peter’s Academy, Patiala for Luddi while the second position was bagged by Our Lady of Fatima school,Patiala for Jhumar.The third position was bagged by Holy Angel School,Rajpura for Kal Beliya dance .The audience loved the colourful dance performances.
