Description: St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar, Patiala student Guntas Sandhu of Class IX has once again brought glory to her school. Guntas Sandhu of St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar, Patiala, secured the overall third position in the 69th Inter-District Girls’ Cycling Race organized by the Punjab State, making her parents and school proud. The cycling championship was held at Shri Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, where Guntas delivered an outstanding performance by winning: • Gold medal in the 200-meter Sprint Track Event, • Silver medal in the 500-meter Track Event, • Silver medal in the Individual Pursuit Event, • Gold medal in the 15 km Road Event, and • Gold medal in the 20 km Road Group Race. With this remarkable achievement, Guntas Sandhu has also been selected for the upcoming School National Cycling Championship, which will be held in Ranchi. On this proud occasion, the school Principal Fr. Michael Collins congratulated Guntas Sandhu and her parents and extended his best wishes for her bright future.
