Feast of Our Lady of Fatima – 13 October 2025

The Church joyfully commemorated the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima on 13th October 2025, marking the anniversary of the final apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the three shepherd children — Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta — in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

In preparation for the feast, nine days of Novena prayers were held at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Ajit Nagar, Patiala.

The Solemn Holy Mass was celebrated on 13th October 2025 by Most Rev. Bishop Dr. Sahaya Thatheus Thomas, Simla-Chandigarh Dioceses,together with other priests. A holy procession was conducted by reciting the Rosary and singing hymns in the glory our Mother Mary under the guidance of the Bishop, Rev. Father Michael Collins and Rev. Father James Gin.During his homily, the Bishop shared a heartfelt message of universal brotherhood, world peace, and humanity, inspiring the faithful to live in unity and compassion.
